With the upcoming Reno 15c, Oppo plans to expand its Reno 15 lineup in China. As part of the Reno 15 launch event earlier this month, the company teased the device, but did not reveal any technical details. According to Oppo, the phone is designed for trendy looks, smooth performance, and everyday dependability.
New leaks from tipster Digital Chat Station have revealed the main specifications of the Reno 15c. This phone reportedly features a 6.59-inch LTPS OLED flat display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. This device uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
The Reno 15c features a 50-megapixel front camera and three rear cameras. The leak mentions a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens. According to Bald Panda, these sensors could be the Sony LYT-600 for the primary camera, the Sony IMX355 for the ultrawide lens, and the Samsung JN5 for the telephoto lens.
The device supports wired fast charging at 80W and weighs 197 grams, according to DCS. The fingerprint sensor has a short-focus optical design. The phone will be available in three colours: Aurora Blue, College Blue, and Starlight Bow.
The Reno 15c looks similar to the Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro models. A minor change has been made to the camera layout, but the back panel remains glossy. The LED flash has been moved to the bottom of the module, making it stand out.
The Reno 15c is expected to launch in China in December, though Oppo has not officially confirmed the date. Pricing is likely to be lower than the standard Reno 15.
