New details about the upcoming Realme GT 8 Pro have been revealed. It is expected that the GT 8 series will debut in China in October, followed by a global rollout later in the year. Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC will power the phones.

Now that the GT 8 Pro has been confirmed, the display will sport a QHD resolution (wrongly referred to as 2K) and a 144Hz refresh rate. Additionally, it is claimed to offer improved brightness and eye protection.

The GT 8 Pro’s front design also features a flat display and slim, symmetrical bezels, as revealed by Realme’s Vice President, Xu Qi Chase.

Realme GT 8 will ship with Realme UI 7.0 out of the box, which is said to offer a smoother interface and a more interactive gaming experience.

Chase teased that the Realme GT 8 series would be priced under CNY 5,000 ($700). In the coming weeks, more details will be revealed about the phones.
