The forthcoming X300 Pro will use a 200MP Samsung HPB sensor for its telephoto functions, according to a Vivo official on Weibo. To reduce chromatic aberration, product manager Han Boxiao said today that the lens would have fluorite glass components, Zeiss T* coating, and APO certification. The sensor is perfect for long-range detail pictures and portraits since it is 1/1.4-inch in size and has a comparable 85mm focal length.
Although the X300 Pro may not be able to compete with Vivo’s current top-tier X200 Ultra in every way, Han pointed out that it is superior in four key areas: stability, speed, clarity, and transparency. According to reports, the telephoto lens is capable of CIPA 5.5-level stabilisation, which is currently the highest grade in the industry.
Additionally, the phone features a special focus tracking engine, developed in collaboration with partners, which promises to enhance the speed and reliability of long-distance motion capture.
In the meantime, Vivo’s proprietary “Blueprint” technology complements the new hardware to provide crisper telephoto photographs without mainly depending on artificial intelligence methods. Additionally, the business says that the Zeiss coating and cutting-edge optics will provide pictures that are clearer, less distorted, and have superior colour fidelity.
Despite the telephoto hype, MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chipset is anticipated to power the X300 Pro. The primary camera, the Sony LYT828, has a 50-megapixel sensor that measures 1/1.3 inches and has good HDR capabilities.
In addition, Vivo is launching the V3+ dual-core photography system on the X300 series together with its VS1 pre-processing processor.
Vivo said it intends to use AI in more inventive ways in the future. The firm hinted at the X300 series’ upcoming support for AIGC-powered landscape creation and customised beauty settings during its Vision Conference.
Vivo X300 Series Design:
According to DCS, the Vivo X300 series will have a cleaner appearance than its predecessor, thanks to the adoption of a big circular back camera module with a thinner ornamental ring. Large-radius edges and flat screens are anticipated for the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro versions. It is said that the bezels are thinner than those of the iPhone 16 Pro Max. According to the source, the gadgets would operate on a new UI that has been characterised as seeming “Apple-like.”
