Several Chinese phone makers, including Oppo, Realme, OnePlus, iQOO, Redmi, and Nubia, are set to unveil their latest flagship devices in October. That said, there were some whispers that Vivo might jump the gun and reveal the X300 series by late September.
But nope—a fresh leak from tipster Smart Pikachu is now pointing to an October debut instead. From what they’ve shared, it’s definitely hitting in October, and factoring in China’s big holiday stretch (National Day running from October 1 through 8, plus Mid-Autumn on the 6th), we’re probably looking at a launch sometime after the 8th.
The X300 lineup is set to run on the Dimensity 9500 chip. Unlike the X200 series from last year, which came in three flavors—the standard X200, the pint-sized X200 Pro Mini, and the X200 Pro—this time around, Vivo’s keeping it to just two: the X300 and X300 Pro. Still, the base X300 should keep that compact vibe going with a 6.3-inch display, much like the X200 Pro Mini.
The tipster also spilt that the Vivo X300 series is getting a fresh Zeiss coating upgrade on its cameras, which should crank up the optical quality a notch. In addition to the phones, Vivo’s reportedly rolling out a new set of earbuds as well. He mentioned that the brand is eyeing a bigger push into IoT and wearables by 2026, with several high-end, revamped gadgets slated for release. As for the Vivo X300 Ultra, word is that it could be released sometime in the second quarter of next year.
