Realme revealed the Realme Neo 7 with a 7,000mAh battery and the Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset in December 2024. Consequently, it is probable that the Realme Neo 8, its replacement, will make its debut in December of this year. Renowned tipster Digital Chat Station shared what appear to be the Realme Neo 8’s leaked specs in a Weibo post today.

According to the leak, the Realme Neo 8 will have an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint reader and an LTPS OLED panel with 1.5K resolution.

Regarding the phone’s chipset, the leak indicates that it is currently being tested with future chipsets like the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 and Dimensity 9500e. The final chipset will be chosen only when testing is completed successfully.

According to rumours, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5—which goes by the model number SM8845—will make its debut in September of this year alongside the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2. With the Realme Neo 8, the leak also provides insight into its battery life. It looks like the gadget will have a massive battery with 8,000mAh in capacity.
