Before the debut, Oppo released fresh information on the design and structural robustness of the Reno 14 series, which it is ready to offer in India. The series, which includes the Reno 14 and Reno 14 Pro, aims to raise the bar for smartphone build quality, specifications, and design.
Oppo claims that the Reno14 series has an internal structure called “Sponge Armour,” inspired by the hardy sea sponge. By distributing impact force more uniformly, our shock-absorbing frame lowers the possibility of damage from regular drops. Additionally, the series has a frame made of aerospace-grade aluminium alloy for increased durability and surface temperature control during demanding activities. According to Oppo, the frame is more than 200 percent stronger than its plastic equivalent.
IP certifications for durability are available for the Oppo Reno 14 series: IP66 for splash resistance, IP68 for submersion in water, and IP69 for high-pressure water jets. The series’ all-weather performance is further enhanced with an underwater camera mode and a platinum-coated USB interface that resists corrosion.
Key Specs:
While the Reno14 Pro is somewhat thicker at 7.58mm and available in Pearl White and Titanium Grey versions, the Reno14 is just 7.42mm in Pearl White and Forest Green finishes. Its smooth sculpted back is made with cold-sculpting technology that doubles engraving and polishing time for a superior anti-fingerprint finish. The Pearl White version debuts Oppo’s Velvet Glass. The Titanium Grey variant has a contemporary brushed-metal appearance, while the Forest Green model has a striking glowing loop effect.
The ordinary edition of the Reno 14 will have a 6.59-inch panel, while the Pro version will have a 6.83-inch OLED screen with 1.5K resolution. Both phones will have ultra-thin bezels, HDR10+ certification, 3840Hz PWM dimming, Netflix and Prime Video HD playback, and an adjustable refresh rate of 120Hz. Furthermore, the brand-new Dimensity 8450 microprocessor has been formally confirmed to be a part of the Reno 14 Pro. The Dimensity 8350 is a feature of the Reno 14, which is already officially available in Japan.
