Later this month, Redmi will reveal the Redmi K Pad, its first tablet designed specifically for gaming, in China. The tablet, which is confirmed to launch alongside the Redmi K80 Ultra, will have powerful specifications in a small package. Tipster Bald Panda has made the device’s primary specifications public ahead of its launch.

Redmi K Pad:

Xiaomi’s new Redmi K Pad has an 8.8-inch 3K LCD panel that supports 2560 × 1600 pixels and offers a refresh rate of 165 Hz. The display has an aspect ratio of 16:10 and supports Dolby Vision. It also has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

 

The Dimensity 9400+ SoC powers it with 8GB/12GB/16GB RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB of UFS 4 flash memory.

 

The Redmi K Pad has an 8MP camera on the back with autofocus and another 8MP Selfie camera on the front. The device weighs 326 grams and is 6.4mm thick. It has a 7500 mAh battery with 67W fast charge support.

Four Dolby Atmos-certified speakers play back the audio. The Redmi K Pad has Android 15 OS with HyperOS 2 on top. The connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and USB Type-C 2.0. To provide an immersive gaming experience, the Redmi K Pad tablet may also have dual X-axis linear motors, dual speakers, and dual USB-C ports (3.0). Additionally, bypass charging is anticipated to be supported, which lowers heat during gameplay.
Redmi K Pad will arrive in  Smoky Purple, Spruce Green, and Deep Black.
