The Find N3 Flip, launched in 2023, was Oppo’s last flip-style foldable. Nothing has happened since then, even though the company has already released the book-style Find N5.

A patent filing at the WIPO may have revealed the design of the upcoming Find N5 Flip. Based on this filing, Oppo hasn’t used a flip-style foldable before.

With the cover screen to one side and the cameras arranged next to it, it is immediately recognisable as part of Oppo’s flip line. There are three cameras, as you can see, which is still a rarity for this form factor, but the Find N3 Flip was also equipped with three cameras. Despite their different arrangement, they remind us of the Find N2 Flip in terms of their position, but they’re not individual circles but part of a larger island, rather Samsung-esque, if we may say so.

It makes sense that the cover display is larger than the Find N3 Flip, as growing these displays has been a trend in the market.

Although these images do look intriguing, keep in mind that companies often file for patents they never use, so there is no guarantee that a Find N5 Flip will appear. We will let you know if we find out anything more.
