Nothing has released two mid-range phones this year and is now preparing to launch its flagship device. According to the company’s CEO, Nothing Phone 3 will launch in Q3 this year, cost around £800 (approximately Rs 90,000), and make its way to the United States. Other details, however, have remained a secret. Today, we finally have some information about the highly anticipated device.
According to a new leak, the Nothing Phone 3’s model number is A024 with codename Metroid. GSM and the Bureau of Indian Standards have previously listed these details in certification listings for an upcoming Nothing device. Due to Nothing’s ongoing partnership with Qualcomm, the leak suggests that the device may feature a Snapdragon flagship chipset, likely the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
The publication reports that Nothing Phone 3 will also feature a flagship-grade triple camera system, including a larger primary sensor and a better periscope zoom lens than the Phone 3a Pro. It is also rumored to be equipped with a large battery, possibly larger than the 5,000mAh battery offered on other Nothing and CMF models.
Carl Pei shared a launch timeline last month for the Nothing Phone 3. The phone is expected to launch with Nothing OS 3.2 based on Android 15 even though it’s likely to be released after the stable release of Android 16.
In addition, the publication suggests that Nothing might offer the device at a lower price in India. In India, the Phone 3 may cost less than Rs.55,000/-, despite Carl Pei’s confirmation that the device will be priced around £800 (approximately Rs 90,000). The lower price could make the phone a hit in the region, especially since it’s expected to have top-of-the-line hardware.
