The launch of Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge, which was expected to take place on April 15, has been postponed. According to ETNews, the decision was made due to a recent leadership change within Samsung’s Device eXperience (DX) division.

There are rumors that Samsung will announce the S25 Edge without holding an in-person event in May or June. According to the new report, Samsung has informed the three major South Korean telecoms about the change. Ice Universe also confirmed the postponement.

In South Korea, the S25 Edge will start at KRW 1,500,000 for the 256GB model, which places it between the S25+ and S25 Ultra. The S25 Edge may launch closer to the S25 Ultra’s €1,470 launch price in other markets such as Europe, where the S25 Edge is rumored to cost €1,200-1,300 for the same 256GB storage trim.
