Motorola is all set to introduce the world’s first 200MP camera smartphone codenamed Frontier soon. Ahead of the launch we already go the renders along with detailed specs of the device. Now one of the sources has got the complete 2022 roadmap of Motorola leaked online.
Motorola Edge 30 Ultra:
As per the source, the new Motorola Frontier finally got the marketing name which will be called Motorola Edge 30 Ultra for global regions. The same device will be branded as Motorola Edge X30 Pro in China.
The new Motorola Edge 30 Ultra will sport 6.67 inches FHD+ AMOLED curved display with a 144Hz refresh rate & HDR10+ support. It is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus SoC which is codenamed Qualcomm Snapdragon SM8475 processor. It will be coupled with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage space.
The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra turns out to be the world’s first flagship to feature Samsung’s 200MP main sensor with OIS coupled with a 50MP ultra-wide & 12MP macro sensor with LED flash. There is a whopping 60MP selfie shooter placed under the punch-hole display. The device runs on Android 12 OS with MyUX on top.
The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra packs a 4500 mAh battery with 125W wired & 50W wireless charging support. The connectivity options include USB-C with DisplayPort 1.4 support, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS.

Further, the source also revealed that Motorola will launch the cheaper Motorola Edge 30 soon. Recently, the alleged Motorola Edge 30 aka Dubai was spotted on Geekbench that revealed it comes with SD778G+ SoC. Further, the source revealed that Motorola Edge 30 will sport 6.5 inches P-OLED FHD+ display with 144Hz refresh rate support.
The Motorola Edge 30 features a 50MP main along with a 50MP ultra-wide & 2MP depth sensor. It features a 32MP selfie camera under the punch hole. The device packs a 4020 mAh battery & runs on Android 12 OS.
The source also revealed that there is another model codenamed Dubai+ whose actual marketing name is unknown. The Dubai+ will be powered by unannounced MediaTek Dimensity MT6879 SoC. The chipset gets two Cortex-A78 clocked at 2.6 GHz whereas the remaining six Cortex A55 cores are at 2.0 GHz speed. It is the first to feature Mali G79 GPU. Going with the specs of the chipset it looks like it is to be the upcoming Dimensity 7000 SoC. Lastly, the device packs a 5000 mAh battery & gets stylus support.
Motorola Edge 30 Lite:
Lastly, we have the cheapest among all the new Motorola Edge 30 Lite which is codenamed Miami. The new Motorola Edge 30 Lite will sport 6.28 inches FHD+ P-OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate support. It is powered by SD695 SoC coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM & 128GB/256GB storage. The device gets dual rear cameras with 64MP main & 13MP ultra-wide with a 13MP selfie shooter. It packs a 4020 mAh battery & runs on Android 12 OS.
