On July 9, Samsung will formally introduce its most recent line of smartwatches at the Galaxy Unpacked event. Three models—the Galaxy Watch 8, Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, and Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025)—have been confirmed, along with all specifications and prices for Europe, before their launch.

Samsung Galaxy Watch8:

The new Galaxy Watch8 will arrive in two variants, one with a 40mm diameter and the other with a 44mm diameter. The new Galaxy Watch8 40mm sports a 1.34-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 438 x 438p & Sapphire glass on top. The 44mm sports the larger 1.47-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 480 x480p along with Sapphire glass on top. The device is made out of Aluminium and gives you a premium feel.

The Galaxy Watch8 is powered by the same Exynos W100 SoC coupled with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The device also gets military-grade MIL-STD 810H and IP68 rated making it dust and water-resistant. It is completely waterproof up to 5ATM.

The Galaxy Watch8 also features improved sleep measurement, which provides more accurate sleep tracking than its predecessor.  The device runs on WearOS, powered by Samsung. The connectivity options include 4G, NFC, Wifi, and Bluetooth 5.3 support. It also features BioActive sensors for measuring temperature and heart rate.

The 40mm packs 325mAh whereas the 44mm has a 435mAh battery. The Galaxy Watch8 comes in three colours: Grey, Cream & Silver.

Samsung Galaxy Watch8 Classic:

The new Galaxy Watch8 Classic will arrive in one with a 46mm diameter. The new Galaxy Watch8 Classic features a 1.34-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 438 x 438 pixels and Sapphire glass protection on top. The device is made out of Aluminium and gives you a premium feel.

The Galaxy Watch8 Classic is powered by the same Exynos W100 SoC coupled with 2GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The device is also MIL-STD-810H and IP68 rated, making it resistant to dust and water. It is completely waterproof up to 5ATM.

The Galaxy Watch8 Classic also features enhanced sleep measurement, providing more accurate sleep tracking than its predecessor.  The device runs on WearOS, powered by Samsung. The connectivity options include 4G, NFC, Wifi, and Bluetooth 5.3 support. It also features BioActive sensors for measuring temperature and heart rate.

The Galaxy Watch8 Classic packs a 445mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025):

The new Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025) will arrive in a single variant one with a 47mm. The new Galaxy Watch Ultra 47mm sports the larger 1.47-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 480 x480p, along with Sapphire glass on top. The device is made out of a Titanium case.

The same Exynos W1000 SoC powers the Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025), coupled with 2GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The device is also MIL-STD 810H and IP68 rated making it dust and water-resistant. It is completely waterproof up to 10ATM.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025) also features ECG support, a Heart Rate monitor, a Pedometer, a SpO2 level monitor, and a calorie counter. The device runs on WearOS, powered by Samsung. It also introduces advanced features like an 86dB emergency siren.

The device packs a 590mAh battery with 15W fast charge support. The Galaxy Watch Ultra comes in three colours: Titanium Grey, Titanium Silver and Titanium White.

The connectivity options include 4G, NFC, Wifi, and Bluetooth 5.3 support.

In addition to total sleep time, sleep cycle, awake time, and physical and mental recovery, the Galaxy Watch8 series analyses Sleep Score Factors. Each morning, users receive personalised Sleep Messages, developed in collaboration with the National Sleep Foundation.

Pricing:

Galaxy Watch8 Bluetooth models, starting at 40mm, cost 379 Euros (roughly Rs 38,200) in France, whereas the 44mm models cost 409.99 Euros (Rs 41,300) in France. The 4G model 40mm cost 429 Euro (Rs.43,100/-) and 44mm at 459 Euros (Rs.46,800/-). The Watch8 Classic Bluetooth variant cost €529.99 (Rs.53,300/-) and 4G variant at €579.99 (Rs.58,400/-).

The Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025) will set you back with a price tag of 699 Euros (Rs.62,800/-).
