In China, Vivo will unveil two models in the S30 series: the Vivo S30 and the more compact Vivo S30 Pro Mini. The tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed key details about both smartphones.

Vivo has confirmed that the Vivo S30 will feature a 6.67-inch flat OLED panel, while the S30 Pro Mini will have a 6.31-inch flat OLED panel. According to the report, both devices will be equipped with 6,500mAh batteries.

DCS revealed on Weibo that the Vivo S30 Pro Mini will be powered by MediaTek’s yet-to-be-announced Dimensity 9400e chipset. This Soc is expected to perform better than the Dimensity 9300+, which was unveiled in May 2024.

The S30 Pro Mini also has a Sony IMX882 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera, a metal middle frame, and a linear x-axis motor. According to a previous report, the rear camera setup will be 50 megapixels + 8 megapixels + 50 megapixels. Indian consumers will likely see this device rebranded as the Vivo X200 FE.

According to the new leak, the S30 will have the same periscope telephoto camera and metal middle frame. The tipster has not shared any information about the Vivo S30’s chipset. The tipster has previously claimed that the phone will be equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, which is nothing more than the existing Snapdragon 7 SM7550 chip. The S30 series is expected to be available in four different shades, including blue, gold, pink, and black.
