After the success of the Redmi K50 series which was launched in China earlier this year. Now the company is planning to introduce the successor to it with the Redmi K60 series. Previously we saw reports about Xiaomi branding the upcoming Redmi K50S series. Now we have an update for next year’s flagship lineup.

As per the tipster, the new Redmi K60 series will sport QHD+ or 2K display with a center punch-hole notch. The device will come with in-display fingerprint scanner support along with superfast wired charging. The device will feature a 50MP main sensor which is likely to be a modified version of the Sony IMX766.

Further, the Redmi K60 series will follow the same tradition of launching both Qualcomm and MediaTek Dimensity chipsets. The tipster claims that both the chipset will be made on 4nm TSMC process so likely to be powered by SD 8+ Gen1 and Dimensity 9000+ SoC.

Currently, the Redmi K60 is just a rumor, and details are scarce. According to Redmi, the K50 series is still not finished. In August, Redmi is expected to launch two smartphones dubbed Redmi K50S and Redmi K50S Pro. According to rumors, both devices will feature Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 processors. Xiaomi’s first 200-megapixel camera phone is likely to launch with the K50S Pro.
