After the launch of the Vivo X80 series in China, now the company is all set to make its global launch soon. During the Chinese launch, Vivo already revealed the global launch details which are scheduled for May 8. Now Vivo has just revealed the Indian launch details for its flagship Vivo X80 series.

As per the official listing, the new Vivo X80 series will finally hit Indian shores on May 18. Yes, Vivo is launching the Vivo X80 series almost a month after the Chinese debut. This might be the earliest launch just after the China launch similar to its predecessor.

Vivo X80:

The Vivo X80 series will look a lot similar to Vivo X Note with the same curved punch-hole display on the front. On the back, the new Vivo X80 features a huge circular camera module carrying triple-cameras similar to Vivo X Note with Zeiss branding.

The Vivo X80 Pro features a similar design but comes with a quad-camera setup i.e the additional telephoto lens. The front of the Vivo X80 Pro comes with a dual-curved display similar to its predecessor. The Vivo X80 measures 8.3 mm thick & weighs 206g. The Vivo X80 Pro measures 9.1mm thick & weighs 215g.

The new Vivo X80 will look identical to Vivo X80 Pro but comes with triple rear cameras. The new Vivo X80 will now sport 6.78 inches FHD+ AMOLED E5 display with 120Hz refresh rate support. It is now powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM & 128GB/256GB internal storage space.

The new Vivo X80 will feature triple rear cameras with a 50MP Sony IMX866 main sensor with an aperture of f/1.75, OIS coupled with a 12MP ultra-wide Sony IMX663 sensor & 12MP portrait lens with 2x optical zoom. There is a whopping 32MP selfie shooter under the punch-hole notch. The Vivo X80 will come with a V1+ dedicated ISP chip along with Zeiss T* coating ZEISS optics.

The Vivo X80 will also feature X-axis linear motor similar to its predecessor. The new Vivo X80 runs on Android 12 OS with FunTouch OS 12 on top. It packs a 4500 mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.

The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and 5G (Dual-Mode support), A-GPS, GPS, GLONASS, Dual Band Wifi/Wifi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, USB Type-C port.

Vivo X80 Pro:

Vivo X80 Pro will now sport a massive 6.78 inches curved AMOLED QHD+ LTPO 2.0 display with 120Hz refresh rate support. It does include the huge ultrasonic fingerprint scanner under the display & comes with a 300Hz touch sampling rate.

The Vivo X80 Pro is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB storage space. There is another variant with MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC.

The Vivo X80 Pro features a 50MP Samsung GNV main, OIS along with a 48MP Sony IMX598 ultra-wide coupled with a 12MP Sony IMX663 portrait lens, 2x zoom, Gimbal OIS & 8MP telescopic sensor with 5X optical zoom, OIS support. The Vivo X80 Pro will feature a 32MP selfie shooter. It will come with a V1+ dedicated ISP chip along with Zeiss T* coating ZEISS optics.

The new Vivo X80 Pro packs a 4700 mAh battery & supports 80W fast charging with 50W wireless charging. It runs on Android 12 OS out of the box. The device also supports 10W reverse wireless charging.

The Vivo X80 Pro with Dimensity 9000 SoC & Snapdragon version costs 5999 Yuan (Rs.70,000/-) for 12GB+256GB, 8GB+256GB at 5499 Yuan (Rs.64,200/-) & 12GB+512GB at 6699 Yuan (Rs.78,200/-) in China.
