Looks like Samsung is all set to introduce the mid-range smartphone under A-series with Galaxy A53 5G next. Previously we spotted the Galaxy A53 5G passing through TENAA which revealed almost everything about the device. Now we have got the official press renders along with camera details leaked online.
As per the source, the Galaxy A53 5G will look exactly similar to the previously launched Galaxy A52s 5G. Yes, the device is completely made out of plastic including the chassis and back. The front of the device features a center punch-hole display with thicker bezels on all sides. On the right, the device comes with a power button along with volume rockers.
On the back, there is a similar rectangular camera layout carrying triple cameras aligned vertically with the fourth one on the right with LED flash below it. There is a USB Type-C port along with a speaker mesh on the bottom of the device. It measures 8.1mm thick and weighs 189g.
The Galaxy A53 5G sports the same 6.5 inches FHD+ Super AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rates. It comes with optical in-display fingerprint scanner support. The Galaxy A53 5G disappoints with Exynos 1200 SoC coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM and a 128GB storage option. There is also an option to expand the memory through a microSD card slot.
The new Galaxy A53 5G will feature quad-rear cameras with a 64MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide sensor, and dual 5MP depth plus macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture and LED flash. The device comes with a 32MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.2.
The Galaxy A53 5G will ship with the same 5000 mAh battery but comes with 25W fast charge support. Galaxy A53 5G also gets an IP67 rating making it dust and water-resistant.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 5G, Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Dual Band Wifi, A-GPS, NFC, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port, 3.5 mm audio jack, FM Radio, and in-display fingerprint scanner. Samsung Galaxy A53 5G runs on Android 12 with One UI 4.0 on top.
