Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 details leaked through series of screenshots runs on One UI Watch 4.5

Galaxy Watch4 Classic

Samsung has yet to release its Galaxy Watch5. Samsung’s fall hardware launch event – usually after August – will unveil the wearable. Samsung’s One UI Watch 4.5 running on Wear OS 3.5 appears in the latest leak from @evleaks. Below are some new watch faces for the new watches.

Now let’s take a look at the updated QWERTY keyboard interface, which features three methods of input: dictation, keyboard, and handwriting.
The following images reveal that the Galaxy Watch5 will support dual SIM lines from its host device so that the user can select whether to use SIM1 or SIM2 when making a phone call or sending a message.
Also detailed in the screenshots are some accessibility features. To enable TalkBack from any screen, visually impaired users will have to double press the home button. What is displayed on the screen will be read aloud?
The Watch has accessibility settings for color blindness and left/right sound balance, as well as how it responds to taps and tap-holds.
One UI Watch 4.5 is pre-installed on the Samsung Galaxy Watch5, which runs on Wear OS 3.5. For now, Wear OS 3 is only available on the Samsung Galaxy Watch4 and the recently announced Montblanc Summit 3.
Since Google announced Wear OS 3 over a year ago, no other OEM has updated their wearables to the new unified OS. Despite last year’s prediction of H2 2022, many smartwatches running the Snapdragon Wear 3100/4100 Platform still run Wear OS 2.3. It’s even unclear if these wearables will support Wear OS 3.0.
