LG is now sending out the invites for the very first flagship of 2018 with LG G7 ThinQ.LG was earlier rumored to launch their flagship in MWC 2018 but was delayed.Now finally LG is all set to launch their first flagship next month.
As per the invite, we can see the mention of LG G7 ThinQ with Lets countdown begin.The launch event is scheduled for May 2 so mark your calendar for the big announcement.As of now, there are no details about the time and event details.
Apart from that, we have got the new press renders of the upcoming LG G7 ThinQ leaked by Evan Blass.As per the leaked renders, we can see the LG G7 ThinQ having a notch above the display with thinner bezels on the sides and thicker bottom bezels.On the rear, we can see the Dual cameras aligned vertically with Dual Tone Dual LED flash and Laser AF besides it and fingerprint scanner below it.
On the bottom of the device, we have the USB Type-C port, 3.5 mm audio port and speaker mesh.On the left, we have the Volume rocker with dedicated Google Assistant button whereas power button on the right.On the top, we have the SIM card slot.
The LG G7 ThinQ looks similar to previous leaks which confirms that upcoming LG flagship will come with iPhone X like a notch.
Earlier we had reports claiming that Apple has partnered with TSMC to work on their next chipset powering the upcoming Apple iPhone 9, iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Plus.Now we have a report claiming that we can see the new 7nm process chipset as early as this year.
TSMC has already started the production of 7nm based Apple A12 SoC last year and is expected to make its debut with upcoming Apple iPhone 9, iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Plus as per DigiTimes.
Earlier we also had some news of Samsung achieving its target of 7nm chipset based on EUV earlier than expected but will be made available only in 2019 SD855 which will be powering the Samsung Galaxy S10.There were also reports of Samsung might launch the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 with new 8nm based on an EUV process which is much more powerful than traditional TSMC 7nm based SoC as per the report.
We can expect Apple to move back to Samsung for the A13 SoC as they have much more advanced than TSMC chipset.With achieving the 7nm process sooner TSMC has earned much more profit this year due to Apple A12 SoC.
Xiaomi upcoming Mi 6X is scheduled to be launched on April 25 with just two days left for the official launch we have now spotted the device listed on Google’s official Android website with key specs mentioned.
As per the listing, the Mi 6X is being compared with Mi A1 aka Mi 5X on Google’ Android website ahead of official launch.We also got the renders of the device with the name mentioned as Mi 6X and not Mi A2.

Earlier we had many rumors about Microsoft planning to launch the foldable smartphone called Microsoft Surface Phone.Last year Microsoft removed all the mobile-related API from Windows 10 Creator update. Now Microsoft has added back all the phone-related API back to the upcoming Windows 10 Redstone 5 2018 update.
Microsoft partnered with Qualcomm launched always connected PC and tablets with LTE modems which are running on Windows 10 OS. The laptops powered by SD835 SoC didn’t have the option to do a phone call apart from VoIP calls but with an upcoming update, one can expect that Microsoft might bring back the calling facility to Windows 10 Redstone 5 update.
