Huawei to launch Hisilicon Kirin 980 SoC built on 7nm process end of 2018

Earlier we had spotted the unannounced Huawei Mate 20 spotted on Antutu listing which just beat the SD845 SoC in terms of the overall score which was also rumored to be powered by the upcoming Huawei Kirin 980 SoC.

Today, we have new reports which claim that Huawei Mate 20 will be powered by the upcoming Huawei Kirin 980 SoC and is rumored to be the first chipset to be built on the 7nm process. It is expected to be launched the second half of 2018.

The Huawei Kirin 980 SoC will be manufactured by TSMC’s 7nm process similar to Apple A12 SoC which is also rumored to built on the 7nm process. The Kirin 980 SoC will also come with Cambricon latest 1M series AI chip on board.

OnePlus 6 gets listed on GeekBench comes with 8GB RAM.

OnePlus is all set to unveil its next flagship killer with OnePlus 6 on May 16 with just a few days left we are flooded with series of leaks and rumors about the device. Today, we have spotted the OnePlus 6 listed on GeekBench which reveals some of the key specs of the device.

As per the listing, OnePlus 6 is listed as OnePlus A6003 which is powered by SD845 SoC whose power efficient cores are clocked at 1.7GHz coupled with 8GB RAM. The device is running on Android 8.1.0 with Oxygen OS on top.

The OnePlus 6 secures score of 2402 under single core test and 8931 under multi-core test which is common with any device with similar specs. The above-listed device might be the 128GB variant of OnePlus 6 and will also have 6GB RAM with a 64GB internal storage option.

Google Android P Beta Program now available on some non-Pixel devices

Google I/O is here and we have some major announcement yesterday. Google has just announced the new Android P Beta Program for select Non-Google devices. So users having the below-mentioned devices can directly sign up on Google website for the Beta program and experience the new Android P first.

Google has announced support for some of the non-Pixel devices now which includes Nokia 7 Plus, Oppo R15 Pro, Vivo X21, Vivo X2 UD, OnePlus 6, Essential PH-1, Mi Mix 2S, and Sony Xperia XZ2. The Beta updated is also available for First and second gen of Pixel XL and Pixel devices.

The process for applying the Beta update is very easy by just signing up using your Google account which has been linked to the above-mentioned devices will enable to receive the beta updates via OTA which is super easy to install with no need to flash the ROM or any other complicated installation.

Live images of the upcoming Oppo online exclusive Real Me 1 leaked.

Oppo is all set to launch its sub-brand which is touted to be an Online exclusive brand called RealMe. Earlier we have the teaser of the first smartphone under RealMe with RealMe 1 which is scheduled to launch on May 15 and is exclusive to Amazo.

Today, we have got the first live image of the upcoming RealMe 1 leaked online. As per the leaked image, we can see the new RealMe having a glass back with the diamond cut finish and looks premium in terms of design. It is having a metal frame which covers the all the sides.

It comes with a single-rear camera with LED flash and mic hole we have the RealMe branding and Designed by OPPO Assembled in India with Oppo logo on the bottom of the device. On the bottom of the device, we have the 3.5 mm audio jack with a micro USB port and speaker mesh.

The power button is on the right whereas the Volume rockers can be found on the left of the device. Sadly, there are no images showing the front of the device but it is expected to have notch display with thinner bezels and will have a design similar to recently launched Oppo F7. The device is rumored to be powered by MediaTek P60 SoC coupled with 6GB RAM.

Samsung files two new patent for foldable and transparent display.

Earlier we have seen many patents filed by Samsung for its upcoming foldable smartphone and today we have not one but two new patents filed for the foldable smartphone other for the transparent display.

The first patent is filed with USPTO under patent file number US009959030 which is for the foldable display which is probably for the upcoming foldable smartphone. The new patent for the foldable display reveals two new sensors with grip sensor and deformation sensor. The Grip sensor detects when and where the user has gripped the device whereas the deformation sensor provides how and when the user folds the device.

As per leaked images, we can see that Samsung has made the UI compatible to automatically display the icons when folded back or enlarged. The other patent is for the transparent display which we already saw with Samsung showing off their transparent TV in the past. With the help of this new transparent display patent for specific AR apps, there will be no need for the camera as its elements of the device will be placed on the portion of the display.

Apple 6.5 inches iPhone with OLED display will come with iPhone 8 Plus dimension.

Apple is all set to unveil not one but three new iPhones this year as per rumors. Today we have new leaks which claim that iPhone X Plus or 6.5 inches iPhone with OLED display smartphone will have the same size as the iPhone 8 Plus.

As per Macotakara, Apple is planning to launch the alleged iPhone X Plus with 6.5 inches OLED display which will have the same dimension as the iPhone 8 Plus but with a larger screen and bezel-less design similar to iPhone X. It will again come with notch display.

The new report also claims the cheaper version of iPhone with LCD display will come with 6.0 inches display over the 6.1 inches and will have a bezel-less display with notch whereas the successor to iPhone X will have the same form-factor with better and brighter lens and bigger sensor.

The source also claims that FaceID will now support landscape mode to unlock the device which will be added to iOS 12 so that it can be implemented with upcoming iPads.Apart from that, the batteries of the upcoming iPhone will be manufactured by Unimicron. The iPhone X Plus is rumored to be fueled with large 3300 mAh which is the largest battery ever used on iPhone.

Samsung to introduce four new J-series smartphone with Infinity display in India.

Samsung is facing a tough time with Xiaomi becoming the No.1 smartphone brand in India. With the drop in sales Samsung is now planning to introduce not one or two but four new devices with new 18:9 aspect ratio display under budget to mid-range category soon in India.

As per reports by IANS, Samsung is planning to introduce four new smartphones under J-series at affordable prices. It will sport the new Infinity display having an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. All the devices will be Made In India and are manufactured at Noida plant.

As per the source, the devices will come with some of the India-specific features like S-Bike mode, Turbo Speed technology, and Ultra Data saving mode which can be found on any Samsung budget smartphones.

We are still not sure about the exact names of the smartphone but it might be the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018), Samsung Galaxy J5 (2018), Samsung Galaxy J6 & J6+ which was spotted on Samsung official website, and Samsung Galaxy J8 & J8+.

Samsung is expected to launch all the four new J-series devices on May 21 in India.

Amitabh Bachchan shares images of the OnePlus 6 in Black and White color

After series of renders leaked of the OnePlus 6, we finally have some official live images shared by none other than OnePlus CEO Pete Lau and popular Bollywood celeb Amitabh Bachchan on Twitter.

As per the post, Amitabh Bachchan shares his experience of using the new OnePlus 6 which is scheduled to launch on May 17 in Mumbai. From the shared images we can see Pete Lau holding the White variant of the OnePlus 6 whereas Black variant is held by Amitabh Bachchan.

We can see that OnePlus 6 is having a glossy back which confirms that it will come with Glass back after all. On the back, we can see the Dual camera with LED flash aligned vertically with fingerprint scanner below it which we even saw in various renders leaks. We have the metal rim running on the sides.

Amitabh Bachchan further mentions that he is keen to attend the launch event on May 17 and also shares the link from where one can buy the invite for the event by paying Rs.999 per head.

Xiaomi Mi 7 & Mi Band 3 are expected to launch by end of May.

Samsung Galaxy J4 spotted on NCC in Taiwan, images leaked.

Samsung is on roll after launching the mid-range smartphone the Samsung Galaxy A6 & A6+ we have few budget smartphone coming soon under J-series. Earlier we have spotted the Samsung Galaxy J4 on GeekBench, today we have spotted the device on NCC certification.

As per images leaked by NCC, we can see the Samsung Galaxy J4 with standard 16:9 aspect ratio display instead of Infinity display as it is a budget smartphone from Samsung. It is completely built out of plastic and comes with a removable back cover with user replaceable battery.

On the back, we have a single camera with LED flash below it with the speaker on the right and Samsung branding. The design looks similar to earlier launched J-series smartphone. The Volume rocker on the left and the power button on the right of the device.

On the front, we have thicker bezels on all the sides with a physical home button which doubles up as fingerprint scanner below the display. As per previous leaks, the Samsung Galaxy J4 is rumored to be powered by Exynos 7570 SoC coupled with 2GB RAM. It will be running on Android Oreo out of the box.
