Samsung is all set to celebrate the 10th anniversary next year for the S-series with Samsung Galaxy S10 and we already have rumor mill pushing one or the other rumors about the device.

Earlier we had got few leaks about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S10 might finally arrive with an in-display fingerprint scanner. Now we have got a new announcement that Samsung is working on Mi Mix like the piezoelectric speaker which is named as Sound on Display.

So this leaves a hint that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S10 might come with all-display smartphone  So sounds like after Xiaomi dropping the tech due to bad sound output we have to wait and watch how good will it turn out in real life scenario.

Xiaomi Mi 8 SE specs leaked ahead of official launch, Mi 8 screen protector renders leaked will soon hit 8 countries including India.

Xiaomi is all set to unveil not one but a bunch of devices on 31 May at Shenzen in China. Earlier we had some rumors claiming that Xiaomi Mi 8 is not the only smartphone to be announced at the event there will be another smartphone called Xiaomi Mi 8 SE (Special Edition) to launch at the event.

Earlier we had even got rumors of Xiaomi Mi 8 SE will have similar specs as the Mi 8 and will come with compact form-factor. But today, we have finally received the new leak showing the screen protector which will be attached to the device by default mentioning some of the key specs of the device.

Xiaomi Mi 8 SE

As per the leaks, the Xiaomi Mi 8 SE will be the first smartphone to be powered by the latest SD710 SoC built on the 10nm node with AIE (AI Engine) which was officially launched last month by Qualcomm.

It features 20MP Dual rear AI cameras with 1.4μm pixel size and 20MP selfie camera with Selfie light. Apart from this nothing much about the device is leaked. But from the shared image we can see the cutout above the display on the screen guard confirms that it will have a notch on the display.

Apart from that we also got the alleged Mi 8 screen protector renders showing the device design. As per the leaks, the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 8 will look similar to Mi Mix 2S and comes with iPhone X like a notch above the display.

It features wider notch above the display which might carry the 3D facial recognition scanner along with selfie shooter, earpiece, and sensor. It is having thicker bottom bezels with rounded corners. The power button along with volume rockers are located on the right of the device.

On the back, we have the Mi Mix 2S styled Dual rear cameras with LED flash in between and rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. On the bottom of the device, we just have the USB Type-C port along with speaker mesh on either side.

Apart from that we also got a new teaser in which we can see 8 different countries with number 8 on top which was share by Xiaomi.

Yes you hear it right it will no longer be exclusive to China this time as Xiaomi has opened lot of Mi Home across India and many other countries we can expect Xiaomi to sell the Mi 8 through these stores.

As per the image, we can see countries like India, France, Egypt, Italy, Russia, Spain, Thailand, and Vietnam where the Mi 8 will soon hit after the China launch.

Alleged Apple iPhone SE2 back panel along with some iOS 12 features leaked.

Apple is all set to bring the successor to the compact iPhone SE with iPhone SE 2 soon. Earlier we had spotted the device with iPhone X like a notch in various case renders. Today we have got the back panel of the alleged Apple iPhone SE 2 leaked.

As per the image, we can see the upcoming Apple iPhone SE 2 rear panel which looks similar to iPhone X like the back panel with probably having a Glass back now over the metal unibody on the predecessor. The upcoming iPhone SE 2 will look similar to predecessor from the rear and will still have a single rear camera with Dual LED flash.

As expected the upcoming Apple iPhone SE 2 will be single SIM smartphone and will have Volume up and down button on the left along with an alert slider and power button on the top of the device. Sadly, there are no images showing the display of the device.

Apart from that, we have also got the screenshot showing some of the features included on iOS 12 which also confirms the upcoming Apple iPhone SE 2. As per the source, the upcoming iOS 12 will be compatible with both iPhone X and iPhone SE2 as per the image.

The iOS 12 will bring beautiful new design with new features including the dark mode, Always-on Display, new Animoji for iPhone X and iPhone SE2, new notification and control panel and lot more features. Anyway, the new iOS12 update weighs around huge 2.54 GB in size.

Anyways, we are still not sure about the leaks shared are legit or fake at the moment.

Samsung Galaxy A9 Star and Galaxy A9 Star Lite hands-on video leaked, features Dual rear cameras.

Samsung is all set to launch another A-series mid-range smartphone with Samsung Galaxy A9 Star and Galaxy A9 Star Lite. Recently Samsung unveiled the Samsung Galaxy A6, A8, A8+ and A6+, and we now have the two new addition to the series with A9 Star and A9 Star Lite. Earlier the smartphone with model number SM-G8850 was rumored to be called Galaxy A8 Star and was also spotted on TENAA listing.

Today, we have the same model number listed as Samsung Galaxy A9 Star and Samsung Galaxy A9 Star Lite as per the source. As per the video, we can see both the devices looks exactly similar and comes with premium looks with metal and glass design. On the front, we have the new Infinity display with slightly thicker bezels. Above the display, we have the selfie shooter along with earpiece and sensor.

On the back, we have Dual rear cameras aligned vertically with Dual LED flash below it and rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. On the bottom of the device, we have the 3.5 mm audio port, USB Type-C port and speaker mesh. The power button is located on the right and Volume rockers along with dedicated Bixby key on the left of the device.

Both of them will have almost similar specs but only change with the processor as per the source the Samsung Galaxy A9 Star will be powered by SD660 SoC and Galaxy A9 Star Lite by SD450 SoC. The Samsung Galaxy A9 Star and Galaxy A9 Star Lite are 7.55 mm thick and weigh 188 grams.

As per the source, the Samsung Galaxy A9 Star and Galaxy A9 Star Lite will sport same 6.28 inches FHD+ Infinity Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2220*1080p. The Samsung Galaxy A9 Star and Galaxy A9 Star Lite will be powered by SD660 SoC and SD450 SoC respectively coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage which can be expanded via microSD card slot (Hybrid Slot).

Samsung Galaxy A9 Star and Galaxy A9 Star Lite feature 24MP+16MP dual rear cameras along with 24MP selfie camera. Both the devices will have Dual SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE support and run on Android 8.0 with Samsung Experience UI on top. All this is fueled by 3700 mAh battery support for Samsung Fast charging.

Apple iPhones launching in 2019 will have OLED display and triple camera with 3D sensor.

Apple is all set to launch not two but three new iPhone X like smartphone this year and we have just got many rumors about the device but not yet received any leak showing the actual device yet but we already getting rumors about the 2019 iPhones.

Apple launched its first OLED display smartphone last year with iPhone X and this year too Apple is planning to introduce two iPhones with OLED panels and one with LCD display. Now we have rumors that Apple might stick to OLED panel completely from 2019 which might disappoint JDI display which still supplies LCD display to Apple.

JDI still doesn’t manufacture OLED display and is planning to start manufacturing it from 2019 and is currently looking for new investors who can provide financial support for OLED production line which is a big plus for two big suppliers with Samsung Display and LG display which is the only manufacturer currently producing the OLED panels and Apple have to rely on both to fulfill its demands.

In the meanwhile popular Analyst at Shinyoung Securities in Seoul Lee Won-sik said that Apple is looking to diversify its sources for OLED panels which might help LG Display to get some orders from Apple.

Apart from that, we also got new rumors for 2019 iPhones might feature triple cameras similar to one found on Huawei P20 Pro. As per the source, the Apple 2019 iPhones will feature a triple camera with a 3D sensor for AR purposes.

The two camera sensor will look at the object from different angles and capture a 3D image which will be the better replacement for the ToF (Time of flight) as per certain analyst while the third camera will act as a telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom similar to Huawei P20 Pro.

Nokia unveils the Nokia 2.1, Nokia 3.1 & Nokia 5.1 with 18:9 display in Russia.

Nokia finally launches the successor to Nokia 5, Nokia 3 and Nokia 2 with Nokia 2.1, Nokia 3.1 & Nokia 5.1 in Russia today. The Nokia 2.1 & Nokia 5.1 will be available from July 2018 whereas the Nokia 3.1 will be available from June 2018. The Nokia 2.1, Nokia 3.1 & Nokia 5.1 are price starts from  $115 (Rs.7,800/-), Euro 139 (Rs.10,870/-) & Euro 159 (Rs.12,500/-) respectively. The Nokia 3.1 & Nokia 5.1 will join the Android One family whereas the Nokia 2.1 will be Android Oreo Go based smartphone. All three phones are ready for Android P.

The Nokia 2.1 will come in Blue/Copper, Blue/Silver, and Grey/Silver colors, Nokia 3.1 will be available in Blue/Copper, Black/Chrome, and White/Iron & Nokia 5.1 will come in Copper, Tempered Blue, and Black colors.

Samsung announces its plans for 3nm based Exynos chipset

Samsung has now shared its new roadmap for the upcoming chipset today. As per the source, Samsung is now planning to introduce the 7nm LPP, 5LPE (5nm Low Power Early), 4LPE/LPP (4nm Low Power Early/Plus) and 3GAAE/GAAP (3nm Gate-All-Around Early/Plus) process technologies.

Samsung new 7nm LPP process will be built using new EUV lithography solution and will be ready by the second half of this year and will enter mass-production by the first half of 2019. Samsung biggest competitor TSMC has already moved ahead with the 7nm chipset for Apple which will also use EUV Lithography solution and has already started working on 5nm based chipset by the first half of 2019.

Exynos 9810

Whereas Samsung is going to start production of the 5nm LPE process which has ultra-low power consumption by 2019. After that, Samsung will begin working on 4nm LPP process by 2020 and would be the last chipset to use the FinFET process with smaller cell size and improved performance.

Finally, Samsung will start working on 3nm node process based on own GAA architecture MBCFET (multi-bridge-channel FET). The 3nm node chipset will not enter production not earlier than 2022.

Alleged Google Pixel 3 and Google Pixel 3 XL screen protector leaked, with a notch

After spotting the upcoming Pixel 3 & Pixel 3 XL under a setting panel of the Android P Developer Preview update we finally have got a new leak showing the screen protector of the upcoming Google Pixel 3 and Google Pixel 3 XL.

As per the post on Weibo, the screen protector of the alleged Google Pixel 3 and Google Pixel 3 XL and was taken down but luckily the image was available online. As per the leaks, the upcoming Google Pixel 3 will have thicker bezels with similar to Pixel 2 XL and comes with 18:9 aspect ratio display whereas the elder brother the Google Pixel 3XL will come with a bezel-less display with wider notch above the display with an aspect ratio of 19:9.

On the top of the display on both the devices, we can see the cutout for Dual selfie camera or probably for 3D facial recognition camera along with earpiece and sensor. There is cutout at the bottom bezels which is for the front firing speaker so probably the third-gen Pixel devices will also come with Dual front firing speakers. Apart from this nothing much about the device is leaked.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 screen protector leaked, will come with thinner bezels.

Samsung is alls et to introduce the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 later this year. Earlier there were rumors of Samsung might launch the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 earlier than expected. We even spotted the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 on GeekBench listing.

Now we have got the first live images showing the screen protector of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 9 leaked. As per the images, we can see that there are nearly no bezels on the sides and thinner bezels on top and bottom of the display when compared with the predecessor.

 

So probably there is no design change this time too and will look similar to Galaxy Note 8 but with thinner bezels. As per earlier leaks, Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will be powered by SD845/Exynos 9810 SoC coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM.
