The Moto G84 5G’s successor was leaked, just a few days after product images of the same device appeared online. According to a previous leak, Motorola equipped the Moto G85 with an unreleased Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. @MysteryLupin, a typically reliable source, confirms this.

Moto G85:

The new Moto G85 will sport a massive 6.67-inch FHD+ pOLED 10-bit display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device comes with the unannounced Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 SoC. It comes with an Octa Core processor clocked at 2.3 GHz, and the Adreno 619 GPU. It is coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage space with microSD card support.

 

The device features a 50MP main sensor coupled with OIS & an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with LED flash. It features a 32MP selfie shooter under the punch-hole display. The device comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner along with IP52 certification making it water-resistant.

 

Additionally, the device features a dual-stereo speaker that supports both Dolby Atmos and Moto Spatial Sound, offering improved bass and vocals, as well as improved clarity.

The connectivity options include Dual Band Wifi, 5G, 4G LTE, FM Radio, Dual SIM support, A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C, and Bluetooth 5.3. The device packs a 5000 mAh battery with 33W fast charge support. It runs on Android 14 OS out of the box.
