The Realme GT 5 and the Realme GT 5 Pro were announced in the second half of 2023 in the Chinese market. Realme is now working on the Realme GT Neo 6 and the Realme 12 series of smartphones for the Chinese market. The devices are expected to launch in early 2024. Digital Chat Station has posted on Weibo that the GT Neo 6 sub-flagship phone will cost an impressive amount.
Digital Chat Station, who is a tipster, discusses Realme phones intended for the Chinese market. The Realme 12 series will feature the new Sony IMX709 and OmniVision OV64B sensors. There will be a 32MP telephoto camera (2x optical zoom) and a 64MP periscope telephoto camera (3x optical zoom) on the Realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+, respectively. The Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor is expected to be used in both phones.
The Realme GT Neo6 will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC as per the source. In 2024, DCS expects it to debut after Chinese New Year, probably in the second half of February. Among the recently announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 phones in China, the GT Neo 6 may be the most affordable.
