Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy

Qualcomm and Samsung have struck a deal and the upcoming Galaxy S23 series will use an exclusive Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform for Galaxy. The bespoke chipset powering Samsung’s new flagships won’t be forgotten, and Samsung has prepared a more concise reminder.

We will use the modified Snapdragon logo in relevant promotional images. Just days before the official unveiling on February 1, some promo images have already been leaked. Next week, you can expect to see this kind of thing on many billboards.

Samsung will be the exclusive provider of the chipset at launch, possibly for the rest of its existence. Details of the deal with Qualcomm are vague at present. It is expected that the “Snapdragon for Galaxy” thing will continue with the Galaxy S24 generation as well. Samsung MX might move to its own chipset after that.

The Galaxy S23 Ultra has a boxier, Galaxy Note-like design, while both models have a more rounded design. S23 and S23+ will share several specs but will differ primarily in terms of screen size, storage capacity, battery capacity, and charging speed.
