Redmi is gearing up to unveil the Note 12 series of smartphones soon after launching multiple devices in the Note 11 series.
According to a new report, the Redmi Note 12 series is said to launch ahead of the Double 11 shopping festival in China. On November 11, China’s biggest shopping festival, the Double 11 shopping festival, takes place. The day is also known as “The Single’s Day” in the country.
By this prediction, sales of Note 12 will begin on November 11th. The Redmi Note 12 series will be the company’s “small flagship” after the Redmi Note 11T was introduced as its “performance flagship” in 2022. Xiaomi Group China president Lu Weibing announced earlier this year that two Note series will be launched every year.
At least two variants of the series will be the Redmi Note 12 and the Note 12 Pro. Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus may also join the lineup, but it has not yet been confirmed.
It is expected that the Dimensity 1300 chipset will power the Redmi Note 12 series. Along with the 120W fast charging capability, the device will be equipped with a 50MP triple camera. Weibo reports have also mentioned that the Note series could feature a 50MP ultrawide camera, which would be a first for the Note series and is likely to be reserved for the Pro or Pro Plus variants.
