After series of render images leaked with some of the key specs of the upcoming Sony Xperia XZ1 and XZ1 Compact, Sony finally launches the rumored Sony Xperia XZ1, XZ1 Compact, and XA1 Plus in IFA Berlin yesterday.The Sony Xperia XZ1 and XZ1 Compact are the flagship device from Sony Xperia lineup for next half of 2017.Sony also launched it first truly wireless earphones with Sony WF-1000X which is Apple Airpods competitor.

Sony Xperia XZ1 is having similar Sony Omnibalance design which we saw on earlier Xperia devices. It completely built with full metal unibody construction.It will be available in four colors with Moonlight Blue, Black, Venus Pink, and Warm Silver.It weighs 155 grams and is 7.9 mm thick.

Sony Xperia XZ1 comes with 5.2 inches FHD HDR TRILUMINOS display with X-reality engine and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection.The Sony Xperia XZ1 is powered by SD835 chip coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 256GB.

Sony Xperia XZ1 come with a Single 19MP rear camera with 1/2.3″ Exmor RS sensor, 25mm wide Sony G lens with an aperture of f/2.0, BIONZ mobile image processor, Hybrid AF, LED flash, and 5-Axis OIS.The selfie shooter is of 13MP with 1/3.06″ Exmor RS sensor, 22 mm wide angle lens with an aperture of f/2.0 and 5-Axis OIS. The rear camera can record videos up to 4K.

Connectivity options include Dual/Single SIM 4G LTE with VoLTE support, NFC, A-GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, Dual Band Wifi, USB Type-C port at the bottom, a fingerprint scanner embedded in the power key on the right side of the device, Stereo speakers with Sony S-Force front surround, Hi-Res Audio, Digital Noise Canceling, DSEE HX, A-GPS and DLNA certified.Sony Xperia XZ1  also comes with IP65/68 certified which makes the device dust and water resistant.All this is fueled by lower 2700 mAh battery with support for QC 3.0.The Sony Xperia XZ1 is the first device to run Android Oreo out of the box.As of now, there are no details regarding the Indian pricing and availability.

The next device is with Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact as the name suggests it is a compact device with lower screen size.Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact is having similar Sony Omnibalance design which we saw on earlier Xperia devices. It completely built with full metal unibody construction.It will be available in four colors with Horizon Blue, Black, Twilight Pink, and White Silver.It weighs 143 grams and is 9.3 mm thick.

Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact comes with 4.6 inches HD 720p TRILUMINOS display with X-reality engine and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection.The Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact too is powered by same SD835 chip coupled with 4GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 256GB.

The last device is a mid-range device from Sony with Sony Xperia XA1 Plus which is the upgraded variant of the previously launched Sony Xperia XA1.Sony Xperia XA1 as the name suggests it is a compact device with lower screen size.Sony Xperia XA1 is having similar Sony Omnibalance design which we saw on earlier Xperia devices. It completely built with full metal unibody construction.It will be available in three colors with Gold, Black, and Blue.It weighs 190 grams and is 8.7 mm thick.

Sony Xperia XA1 Plus comes with 5.5 inches FHD display Corning Gorilla Glass for protection.The Sony Xperia XA1 Plus is powered by MediaTek Helio P20 chip clocked at 1.6GHz coupled with 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB onboard storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 256GB.
Sony Xperia XA1 Plus comes with a Single 23MP rear camera with 1/2.3″ Exmor RS sensor, 24mm wide angle lens with an aperture of f/2.0, Hybrid AF, and LED flash.The selfie shooter is of  8MP with 1/4″ Exmor RS sensor, 23 mm wide angle lens with an aperture of f/2.0. The rear camera can record videos up to 1080p.

Connectivity options include Single/Dual SIM 4G LTE with VoLTE support, NFC, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, Dual Band Wifi, USB Type-C port at the bottom, a fingerprint scanner embedded in the power key on the right side of the device, SmartAmp, and Clear Audio+.All this is fueled by 3430 mAh battery.The Sony Xperia XA1 Plus runs Android N out of the box.As of now, there are no details regarding the Indian pricing and availability.It is expected to go on sale starting from Autumn 2017.

Apart from this Sony also launches its successor to MDR-1000X with Sony WF-1000X earphones. Sony WF-1000X comes with Active noise cancellation technology, and also comes with a couple of new tricks.The Sony WF-1000X is similar to what we saw with Apple Airpods and Samsung Gear Icon X. It comes with charging case where you can charge the earphones wireless.Earphones will automatically turn on when you remove from the charging case.

The newest feature of Sony WF-1000X is with Smart listening. It works with an app on your phone which tracks what are you doing.It automatically minimises the background noise when you are traveling on the vehicle and while you are walking it automatically increases the background noise.While you are standing and sitting it turns on the Voice so that you can listen to the voice of the people surrounding you.You can even manually control the ear pods using the app.

As per Sony, the Sony WF-1000X will give 3 hours of Active noise cancellation and 9 hours if you charge via charging case which is lower when compared to Apple Airpod with 5 hours and 24 hours if charged using the provided case.Sony WF-1000X is priced at $199 which is higher than the Apple Airpods which is priced at $159.As of now, there are no details regarding the Indian pricing and availability.The connectivity option includes NFC and Bluetooth 4.1. It will be available in two colors with Gold and Black.
